I spent six inspiring days in Los Angeles in October 2023 to attend Adobe’s three-day conference, Adobe MAX.

As a photographer, videographer, and graphic designer, Adobe’s software is central to my daily work. Adobe MAX is held annually to present updates on their programs, showcase technological advancements, offer professional workshops, and create networking opportunities for creatives from around the world. This year, over 10,000 people attended.

The schedule was packed from morning to evening during the first two days, beginning and ending with major keynotes for all attendees. In between, we could customize our own schedules by choosing sessions based on our interests. There was also a large Creative Park featuring booths from various companies, where I met well-known designers and got to try out Adobe’s latest features.

The experience in Los Angeles was overwhelming—in the best possible way. I returned home with renewed energy and inspiration for the work I’m passionate about. That kind of spark is something I’ve been missing, especially living in Greenland, where opportunities for knowledge sharing are very limited. It was incredible to connect with creative minds from all over the world—and not least, to finally meet and take selfies with some of the designers and photographers I’ve followed on Instagram for years. What made it even more special was sharing the experience with my good friends, Cebastian Rosing and Minik Falksen-Nielsen. It’s a journey I’ll never forget.

Here are some of the photos I took during my stay in Los Angeles.
